Seattle Police have arrested Christopher Burrus who is suspected of attempted murder in Ballard in November. 

He was arrested on a traffic stop by Mountlake Terrace Police Department just before midnight on February 14th.

His outstanding warrant was verified and he was turned over to Seattle Police. 

The assault took place on Nov. 7 of last year when 39-year-old Casey Bush was doused with a flammable liquid and then set on fire.

It took place in the 4500 block of Leary Way NW near Fremont and a passerby saw the flames, called 911 and extinguished the fire while waiting for first responders. Seattle Fire medics arrived and took the victim to Harborview Medical Center where he was in critical condition.

Burrus knew the victim and the victim alleges it arose out of a dispute. He was burned over 30% of his body. Bush has since recovered.
