Highline advances to play Fife for the West Central District 2A championship at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds in Bremerton.
Boys soccer
Metro League playoffs take place Monday at the Southwest Athletic Complex next to Chief Sealth.
West Seattle battles O’Dea in a 5 p.m. game ahead of a 7 p.m. meeting between Ballard and Garfield.
The playoffs switch to Interbay Stadium for action at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Highline awaits an opponent to be determined for a 5 p.m. Tuesday playoff at Franklin Pierce and Mount Rainier awaits an opponent to be determined for playoff action at 5 p.m. Thursday at Curtis.
Fastpitch
Highline visits Hazen for a non-league game at 4 p.m. Monday as Evergreen entertains Tyee, and Foster travels to Sammamish for 4:30 p.m. action.
Seattle Christian visits Vashon Island for a 4 p.m. game Tuesday and Mount Rainier travels to Kentlake for 7 p.m. action.
Metro League tournament action is being hosted at the Southwest Athletic Complex next to Chief Sealth and Southeast Athletic Complex next to Rainier Beach on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Track and field
Chief Sealth will host the Metro Championships at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Southwest Athletic Complex, with the meet continuing Friday. The Metro All-Comers Meet is Thursday at the Northeast Athletic Complex.
The South Puget Sound League 2A championships take place at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Franklin Pierce and the Nisqually League championships at 3:30 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fife High School.
Girls tennis
The North Puget Sound League’s double-elimination tournament starts at 9 a.m. Monday at Auburn High School and continues at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
The South Puget Sound League 2A tournament will take place at 3 p.m. Friday at Clover Park High School in Lakewood.

Storm
Mount Rainier graduate Brittany McPhee and the Seattle Storm women’s basketball team host Phoenix for a 12 p.m. exhibition game at the KeyArena this Tuesday.
Reign
The Seattle women’s soccer squad hosts Sky Blue for a 7 p.m. match at Seattle Memorial Stadium this Saturday.
Sounders
Seattle’s Major League Soccer team travels to Toronto for a 4:30 p.m. Wednesday game before dropping in on the Portland Timbers for a 1 p.m. contest Sunday.
Wednesday’s action can be seen on FS1 and Sunday’s on ESPN.
Mariners
Seattle goes on the road again this week, playing three games each in Toronto and Detroit.
The Mariners take on the Blue Jays at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and the Tigers at 4:10 p.m. Friday, 1:10 p.m. Saturday and 10:10 a.m. Sunday.
All of the action will be televised on the ROOT Sports cable network.
Rainiers
Tacoma wraps up a four-game series in Reno with an 11:35 a.m. game Monday before going to El Paso for Pacific Coast League action at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and at 6:05 p.m. Friday.
It’s on to Sacramento for a 7:05 p.m. game Saturday followed by a 1:05 p.m. clash Sunday.
Seawolves
Seattle’s Major League Rugby squad visits New Orleans for a 10 a.m. game Saturday that can be seen on ROOT Sports.
Emerald Downs
The Auburn horse racing oval is open for action at 6:30 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Colleges
Husky baseball
The University of Washington hosts UCLA for a 6:05 p.m. game Friday, a 2:05 p.m. game Saturday and a 1:05 p.m. clash Sunday.
Husky track and field
The Pac-12 championship meet is being held this Saturday and Sunday at Stanford University.
Cougar baseball
Washington State University will be at home in Pullman playing USC at 5 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
