Armed robbery
A man entered Subway, 10404 16 Ave, ordered a sandwich, then produced a stainless steel semiautomatic and demanded cash. He left with around $250. The crime was reported around 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.
Came in through the bedroom window
A woman called police around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 to report a burglary at her apartment, which is located in the 9900 block of 8 Ave SW. She said a man entered her bedroom window, while she was home, and stole her wallet.
Illegal firearm discharge
The owner of a martial arts school located in the 100 block of SW 153 St called police around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 19 to report that the building was shot. He discovered glass on the studio mats.
Attacked while walking
Two male suspects brutally attacked a man walking at the intersection of 1 Ave S and SW 148th St. around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. They beat the victim with a machete and a belt laden with metal rings. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
Attempted burglary on SW 104
A burglar attempted to break into a residence located in the 1600 block of SW 104 St. by prying open the door with a knife. The crime was reported around 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18.
Stabbed with garden shears
A suspect attempted to take the victim’s phone by punching him and stabbing him multiple times with garden shears. The crime occurred in a parking garage located at the intersection of S 154 St and International Blvd. The incident was reported around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 15.
