The community is invited to the first annual Roxhill Park Community BBQ set for June 9, 2018 from 12noon-2pm.
Come to Roxhill Park (north end by picnic tables near SW Barton) 2850 SW Roxbury St, Seattle, WA 98126 to meet your neighbors and share your ideas that what you'd like to see in the park & learn about the Roxhill Park Development Program.
Free hot dogs for the first 100 people, local entertainment & wetland tours on site.
The event is free and open to the public- all are welcome!
Goals for the Park
- Build Community: Create activities and programs that connect neighbors and business owners.
- Increase Safety: Make our public gathering space truly safe accessible for all by working with SPD, Seattle Parks, the City and the community to strategize and implement short and long term safety improvements.
- Support Stewardship: To protect, improve and educate the public about our unique wetlands and open green spaces.
