The full joy of completing a high school graduation shows on this student's face as she leaves the stage with her diploma during the ceremonies June 21 at Chief Sealth International High School.

Chief Sealth International High School celebrated the graduation of 229 seniors on June 21 with ceremonies at the Southwest Athletic Complex. The program included music from the Chief Sealth Concert Band.
The event was introduced by Principal Aida Fraser-Hammer followed by a welcome from the Sacred Waters Canoe Family. The staff speaker was Matt Baudhuin and the student speaker was Gregorio Avalos.
To the delight of the crowd, "Lunch Lady" Doree Fazio-Young who has served in that role at Denny Middle School for decades was given a chance to offer her "Words of Wisdom."
She was followed by student speaker Lauryn Haywood.
Why didn’t you list the National Honor Society graduates of Sealth like you did of West Seattle?
