The Tukwila-based Seattle Seawolves captured the Major League Rugby championship with a 23-19 victory over the Glendale Raptors of Colorado on Saturday evening, avenging two regular season losses in as many tries against the same team.
Saturday’s victory in San Diego concluded the first ever season for both the team and the league.
The Seawolves played their home games at Starfire Stadium and are already taking names to be on the waiting list for season tickets in 2019.
