SEDRO WOOLLY--Pacific of Edmonds pulled out an 8-4 victory over West Seattle in the winner's bracket final of the state Major Little League baseball all-star tournament Thursday.
The loss dropped the team into a 5 p.m. loser's bracket final at Janicki Fields in Sedro Woolley on Friday.
The Westsiders must win that game and then beat Pacific twice to win state starting with a 12 p.m. game Saturday.
The same West Seattle contingent won the age 9-11 state title last year and had never lost since it was formed at districts in 2017.
