Seattle Parks has shared the preferred design for the Puget Ridge Playground at 6029 21st Ave SW, has been developed based on the public input, accessible standards, other park design standards, and budget limitations.
The intent of the preferred design is to maintain the bones of the existing park, include new play structures that are accessible to all abilities – focused on young kids, and improve seating and gathering.
Seattle Parks and Recreation is renovating the play area and installing new play equipment at the park. The planning process has included two community meetings for taking public input and considering the design. The meetings were held April 16, 2018 and June 6, 2018. Meeting notes and presentation documents are available for viewing below.
