If you have a crime concern, recommendations for SPD, or public safety issue, please join the Seattle Police Department at a local West Seattle focus group. Information gleaned from the focus group will help inform your neighborhood’s Micro Community Policing Plan so please come share your concerns and suggestions!
Crime, Safety, & Police Legitimacy is a part of the process evaluation of the Seattle Police Department’s Micro-Community Policing Plans.
Seattle University is looking for community members to participate in an hour-long discussion regarding community perceptions of crime, safety, and police legitimacy, as well as knowledge of and satisfaction with the MCPP.
There are 7 focus groups left:
-High Point Community: 8/11, 2-3 pm, at High Point Library
-Fauntleroy Community: 8/15, 5:30-6:30 pm, at SW Library
-Morgan Junction Community: 8/19, 3-4 pm, at High Point Library
-Commercial Harbor Island Community: 8/20, 6-7 pm, at Delridge Library
-Pigeon Point Community: 8/25, 11:30-12:30 pm, at Delridge Library
-Commercial Duwamish Community: 8/27, 6-7 pm, at Delridge Library
-Alki Community: 8/29, 6-7 pm, at West Seattle Library
