Washington’s National Parks and Northwest Symphony Orchestra go to Benaroya Hall.
In an exciting collaboration between the Northwest Symphony Orchestra and Washington’s National Park Fund, both organizations head to Benaroya Hall on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 7:30pm. Music Director Anthony Spain adds “This concert will be a spectacular visual as well as musical display. As the Northwest Symphony Orchestra performs, visuals from nearly 100 local photographers will be projected on to a large screen at the hall. The concert will also feature the west coast premiere of visuals by Adrian Wyard accompanying Dvorak’s New World Symphony. Past performances of Adrian’s work with the NWSO have sold-out and we expect these visuals from National Parks will be just as popular.”
This concert also commemorates the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Washington’s National Park Fund and will include students from six area high school choirs singing a rousing rendition of America the Beautiful with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra. There will also be a performance by The Musical Mountaineers.
Tickets can be purchased by calling Benaroya Hall at (206) 215-4747, and for more information on the concert, please visit the NWSO at www.northwestsymphonyorchestra.org or Washington’s National Park Fund at
