To the editor:
Obviously Trump stratigically orchestrated his fix during the entire process of the Kanaganugh confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court.
If Senators Flake and Manchin and the rest of those involved in their political swam see the Kavanaugh confirmation as a win, it loses much of its meaning in the sense of truth.
Mocking Dr. Ford’s testimony does not diminish her painful experience and her memory of her assaulter Brett Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh’s testimony wasn’t anything a person would expect from a judge who wanted to be on the highest court, in honor of our constitution.
In fact, his explosive emotional outburst of anger, crying and sniveling while he venomously accused the Democrats and the Clintons for trying to destroy his reputation and family.
During his aggressive rant, it seems to me he was covering jp, his pent-up guilt feelings which surfaced out of Dr. Ford’s testimony.
In my opinion, Kavanaugh is toxic with alcoholic tendencies. I suspect his falling asleep after abusive drinking were blackouts. There is an elephant in his life and he keeps walking around it.
Kavanaugh’s partisan beliefs is the luggage he will take to the Supreme Court. When he said “What goes around comes around” he hade it clear he will unpack his luggage on the bench.
I imagine if any Trump followers who would choose to bet on Kavanaugh doing the right thing about some extremely sensitive issues threatening every American, they can contact Las Vegas and request to place their bet.
I thinking the odds against him upholding the U.S. Constitution and our Democracy are high!
It is too bad there is not an applicable legal remedy to impeach Kavanaugh’s testimony. Because he perjured himself!
Under the instructions from Trump, The F.B.I. was away from their desks or out of the office. Their investigation was short-lived, while the potential evidence of 40 witnesses to support Dr. Ford quickly died out.
Susan Collins was the pivotal vote. She was encouraged to take center state on the Senate floor to deliver a 45 minute speech to give closure to the Kavanaugh confirmation. It was an interesting speech with glimpses of a bad Hollywood script which gave credibility to Dr. Ford.
To the evangelicals who support Trump: it is a dark time now and the human law of thinking has failed us. But make no mistake about it. Trump and his gang are headed for big fall. Democracy will be preserved in the White House.
