Boys basketball
Kennedy Catholic hosts Kentlake for a 7 p.m. game Friday as Mount Rainier travels to Tahoma and Tuesday JFK entertains Kentwood as Mount Rainier gets a visit from Kent-Meridian.
In the Metro League at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Ballard will be at home facing Franklin as Chief Sealth hosts Cleveland and West Seattle entertains Roosevelt.
Tuesday’s schedule has West Seattle at Cleveland, Chief Sealth at Bishop Blanchet and Ballard at Eastside Catholic with 7:30 p.m. starts.
Highline goes to Evergreen for 7 p.m. action Friday as Foster hosts Renton and Tyee travels to Lindbergh.
Evergreen is at Tyee at the same time Tuesday with Highline hosting Foster.
Seattle Lutheran will be at home in West Seattle playing Pope John Paul II at 7:30 p.m. Thursday before visiting Rainier Christian at the same time Saturday and hosting Auburn Adventist at the same time Tuesday.
Girls basketball
Ballard hosts Franklin for a 7 p.m. contest Friday as Chief Sealth hosts Cleveland and West Seattle entertains Roosevelt and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. West Seattle is at Cleveland, Chief Sealth at Bishop Blanchet and Ballard at Eastside Catholic.
Meanwhile, West Seattle meets Prairie for a 2 p.m. contest at the ShoWare Center in Kent on Monday.
Mount Rainier entertains Tahoma at 7 p.m. Friday as Kennedy Catholic travels to Kentlake and Tuesday the Rams go to Kent-Meridian as Kennedy travels to Kentwood.
Evergreen visits Highline for a 7 p.m. Friday game as Foster travels to Renton. Tyee visits Lindbergh at 7:45 p.m.
Tuesday’s schedule has Tyee at Evergreen and Highline at Foster at 7 p.m.
Seattle Christian pays a 7 p.m. visit to Annie Wright on Friday before hosting Cascade Christian at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, while Seattle Lutheran is at home against Pope John Paul II at 6 p.m. Thursday before visiting Rainier Christian at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and hosting Auburn Adventist at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Gymnastics
Ballard goes to Ingraham for a 4 p.m. Friday meet with Chief Sealth going to Bainbridge with Nathan Hale at 6 p.m.
West Seattle is at Roosevelt for 7 p.m. action along with Franklin, Garfield and Holy Names.
Mount Rainier goes to Auburn with Thomas Jefferson and Kentwood at 6:30 p.m. next Wednesday and Kennedy Catholic to Federal Way with Auburn Mountainview and Kentridge.
Tyee gets a 7 p.m. visit from Evergreen and Lindbergh on Thursday of this week.
Wrestling
Kennedy Catholic will be at home against Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m. next Wednesday as Mount Rainier hosts Kentridge.
Highline entertains Clover Park, Steilacoom and Eatonville at 5:30 p.m. this Thursday as Foster gets a visit from Tyee, White River and Renton. Evergreen travels to Orting with Cascade Christian and River Ridge at the same time.
Chief Sealth is home facing West Seattle, Franklin and Garfield at 6:30 p.m. Thursday as Ballard goes to Roosevelt with Bainbridge. Ballard turns around to host Roosevelt at the same time Tuesday.
Boys swimming
Evergreen, Highline and Tyee entertain Renton for a 3 p.m. Thursday meet before getting a visit from Steilacoom at the same time Tuesday with both meets held in the Evergreen pool.
Kennedy Catholic is home at the City of Tukwila pool facing Kentwood at 3 p.m. Thursday and Mount Rainier hosts Kentridge at 3:30 p.m.
West Seattle and Chief Sealth go to Meadowbrook for a 4 p.m. meet against Seattle Prep on Friday as Ballard travels to the Helene pool to face Ingraham.

Thunderbirds
Seattle visits the Tri-City Americans for a 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League match Friday before coming home to the ShoWare Center in Kent to play Victoria at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.
The Thunderbirds entertain the Spokane Chiefs at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Stars
Tacoma hosts the San Diego Sockers for a 7:35 p.m. professional indoor soccer match at the Showare Center in Kent on Friday before going to California to play the Ontario Fury at 5 p.m. Sunday.
Colleges
Husky men
The University of Washington men’s basketball team hosts Stanford for a 6 p.m. game Thursday and California for a 2 p.m. contest Saturday.
Thursday’s action can be seen on ESPN2 and Saturday’s on the Pac-12 cable network.
Husky women
Washington visits Stanford for 7 p.m. action Friday before dropping in on California at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Both games will be carried live on the Pac-12 cable television network.
Cougar men
Washington State University plays a 7 p.m. home game in Pullman against California on Thursday before entertaining Stanford at 12 p.m. Saturday, with the Pac-12 network showing both games.
Cougar women
The Cougars are at California for 11:30 a.m. action Friday and at Stanford at 12 p.m. Sunday.
Sunday’s game will be on the Pac-12 network.
Redhawk men
Seattle University entertains New Mexico State at 7 p.m. Thursday and UTRGV at the same time Saturday.
Falcon men
Seattle Pacific University goes to Concordia for a 7:30 p.m. game Thursday before paying a 5:15 p.m. visit to Western Oregon on Saturday.
Falcon women
The Falcons will be in their home nest at Royal Brougham Pavilion playing Western Washington at 7 p.m. Thursday and they will entertain Simon Fraser at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Bulldog men
Gonzaga University gets a 6 p.m. visit from LMU in Spokane on Thursday before visiting Portland at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Both games will be carried on ROOT Sports cable television.
Bulldog women
Gonzaga goes to BYU for 6 p.m. action Thursday and visits San Diego at 2 p.m. Saturday.
