Seattle Parks is holding two open houses regarding the upcoming renovations planned for the South Park Community Center and spray park features. The project will replace playground equipment which will include play elements and access for children of all ages and abilities. A future off leash dog park is also planned. The first open house is scheduled for March 29, from 5pm to 8pm and the second will follow a few weeks later on April 19 also from 5pm to 8pm.

Both will be held at the South Park Community Center, 8319 8th Ave. South Seattle 98108.

Food and children's activities will be provided.

The budget for the project has been set at $800,000
