Seattle City Light is proposing an electric vehicle charging station in West Seattle.
information from Seattle City Light
Seattle City Light is proposing to build a curbside electric vehicle (EV) fast charging station on 39th Avenue SW, between SW Oregon Street and Fauntleroy Way SW.
The proposed site in West Seattle is part of a City Light pilot program to own and operate direct current (DC) fast chargers for EVs. The pilot program supports the Drive Clean Seattle Initiative, which strives to facilitate access to EV charging and increase EV adoption. The initiative is part of a larger effort by the City of Seattle to develop clean transportation options in order to meet the City’s carbon neutral goals.
