The United States Postal Inspector reports that a mail truck was stolen in West Seattle on Dec 23. 

Approximately 200 piece of mail were stolen and the truck was recovered a few blocks from where it was stolen in the 6000 block of 46th Ave SW.

Postal employees are instructed to lock the truck when they step away from the vehicle so it's surmised that the thieves were experienced with car theft.
