Restaurants have been hit very hard as a result of closures due to the pandemic and the latest to come back out of full closure is Il Nido at the Alki Homestead 2717 61st Ave SW.
Il Nido employee Kate Bigham shared the news on Facebook:
" Il Nido at the Alki Homestead will be open as a market beginning tomorrow. Tentatively, our hours for market sales will be from Tuesday through Saturday, 2-7pm. As a special treat, our chef, Mike Easton, will be whipping up espresso drinks with Ladro coffee beginning at 7am!
During market hours, we will be selling our daily-freshly-made take home and cook pastas and sauces, as well as a few cheeses, some sliced deli meats, and most importantly, wines from our expansive list. We will even be selling liquor.
We are implementing a 3-guest-at-a-time rule and will be cleaning, sanitizing, donning gloves and doing all that we can to keep ourselves and our city safe."
