What actually happens in fall high school football is completely dependent on what is going on with the coronavirus by then.

But the North Puget Sound League and Kingco Conference have already published their schedules online in high hopes the virus will have gone away.

Mount Rainier of the NPSL is set to kick off the season locally, paying a 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 visit to Wilson at the Stadium Bowl in Tacoma.

Highline hosts Kent-Meridian at the same time the next day as West Seattle entertains Sammamish of the Kingco Conference and Kennedy Catholic visits Eastside Catholic at a time and place to be announced.

Evergreen waits until Saturday, Sept. 5 to open at home with a noon game against Sultan.

Kennedy takes on another tough Catholic non-league foe Friday, Sept. 11 when it meets O'Dea at 7 p.m. at West Seattle Stadium.

Mount Rainier hosts Peninsula at the same time as Highline goes to Mercer Island and Evergreen to Meridian.

Kingco 2A play begins Friday, Sept. 18 with Lindbergh at Evergreen, Highline at Renton and Foster at Sammamish.

Mount Rainier entertains Todd Beamer at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 and Kennedy Catholic has a bye that week.

Kennedy, which is led at quarterback by five-star University of Washington recruit Sam Huard, finds itself in the NPSL Red Division with Federal Way, Kentridge, Kentwood and Tahoma.

Mount Rainier, whose program includes Tyee athletes, is in the NPSL White Division with Decatur, Todd Beamer, Auburn-Riverside and Auburn Mountainview.

The Blue Division consists of Thomas Jefferson, Auburn, Kent-Meridian and Kentlake.

Evergreen, Highline and Foster have joined Interlake and Sammamish in Kingco 2A play along with Lindbergh and Renton.

Hazen has left the NPSL to join Kingco 3A.

Metro football divisions and schedules have yet to be announced.
