West Seattle based Naturalist and Conservation Specialist Kersti Elisabeth Muul was on Three Tree Point near Normandy Park observing the T65As (transient orca matriline) orca pod on Sunday, June 28. They were on a hunt in these photos. You can see them chasing the little harbor porpoise on the far left (the little chocolate chip shaped dorsal) and then slapping it up in the air.
In last photo with sailboat you can see it landing in the far right.
Kersti points out that "These photos were taken a half to three quarter mile from shore" and she urges people to observe them and appreciate them, from the shore.
