Pryor gets in playing time
West Seattle High School graduate Nate Pryor enjoyed a busy week playing for the University of Washington men's basketball team -- including his first start in a 73-41 win over Seattle University last Wednesday.
Aside from scoring 11 points with five rebounds and four assists, he also came through with two steals and blocked one shot.
Pryor did not start Saturday's game against Oregon, but still played 32 minutes, 36 seconds off the bench in a 74-71 loss.
Pryor scored four points in that outing along with three rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Giomi scores one in victory
West Seattle graduate Lydia Giomi hit one point and hauled down two rebounds as the No. 8-ranked University of Oregon women's basketball team defeated rival Oregon State University by a 79-59 score Sunday.
The Ducks (5-0) visit Washington (4-1) at a time to be announced this coming Saturday.
Dotson plays for Minnesota
Federal Way native Hassani Dotson plays center midfield for the Minnesota United Loons team that took a 3-2 loss to the Seattle Sounders in the Monday, Dec. 7 Major League Soccer Western Conference final.
