Two Nates led the University of Washington in scoring in a failed comeback attempt Wednesday -- and one of them was West Seattle High School graduate Nate Pryor.
Both Pryor and veteran Nate Roberts hit 13 to tie for top team honors in a disappointing 66-58 loss to Montana.
Pryor hit eight of his points in the second half when the host Huskies turned a 33-21 halftime deficit into a 53-51 lead at one point before the Grizzlies came away with the win.
Roberts added a team-high 10 rebounds, while Pryor picked one off the boards and added two assists and one steal.
Pryor scored two to close the second half deficit to 33-25 and two more to make it 44-33 with 12:57 remaining in the game.
His 10th point of the game tied it at 48-48.
He swished in his final three with 32 seconds to play to make it 63-58 Montana.
Pryor's 13 points tied his career high, which he scored one week earlier in a 73-41 victory over Seattle University.
Pryor is a junior transfer student from North Idaho -- a junior college.
