information from the City of SeaTac
The Northwest Film Forum is offering a summer camp here in SeaTac in August.
The workshop is for students ages 11-14 and will be held at the SeaTac Community Center. Students will be able to draw from their own life experiences to create stories. Campers will learn drawing and painting techniques along with the pre-production process, including the importance of storyboarding. Also covered will be how to animate works on iPads.
All technology and art supplies are included with the workshop. Snacks will be provided but students must bring a lunch. All campers are expected to practice social distancing and wear masks.
The camp runs Aug. 16-20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. You must register using this link, payment is on a sliding scale (pay what you can afford). If you have questions about enrolling in any of our camps, please email jonah@nwfilmforum.org.
