An independent  movie premiere is happening at the Historic Admiral Theater on Friday, August 20.

The movie is called "Hunting Bigfoot" (watch the trailer below) produced by the Executive Producer of Straight Outta Compton.

To coincide with the movie's local debut, the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce is reaching out to the community to leverage the attention from "Bigfoot" to boost foot traffic and patronage of West Seattle businesses. There will be actual Bigfoot sightings in West Seattle (yes, the West Seattle Chamber bought a costume) and a "red carpet" photo opportunity the evening of the premiere.

They are asking local businesses to feature Bigfoot themed promotions, menu items, or other tie-ins to be part of the event.
