Kennedy Catholic 21, Kentwood 10
Kennedy Catholic claimed the North Puget Sound League Red Division championship with Friday's win over the Conquerors at French Field in Kent.
The Lancers finished 4-0 in division play and improved to 6-2 overall. The losses were to Metro League and state powerhouses Eastside Catholic and O'Dea.
Shelton 21, Highline 10
Highline may have fallen to 6-2 overall with Friday's non-league home loss to Shelton but it remains on top of the Kingco Class 2A standings at 5-0.
The Pirates play at Interlake with the league title on the line at 7 p.m. Friday.
Interlake stands in second place at 4-1 in Kingco play and is 4-3 overall.
Mount Rainier 34, TJ 33
The Rams slipped past Thomas Jefferson in Saturday evening action at Federal Way Memorial, improving to 5-3 overall.
Mount Rainier had already finished second in the NPSL White Division at 3-1.
TJ came in second in the NPSL Blue Division at 2-1 and is 4-4 overall.
Sammamish 25, Evergreen/Tyee 19
Evergreen/Tyee came close to scoring its first victory of the season Friday night, falling just shy against the Totems in a road game.
Foster visits Evergreen/Tyee at 7 p.m. Friday at Highline Memorial.
Renton 15, Foster 8
The Bulldogs of Tukwila also took a close loss Friday against the Indians, with their record falling to 3-3.
Roosevelt 27, West Seattle 10
The Wildcats were dealt a road defeat at the hands of the Roughriders Thursday.
Anacortes 28, Chief Sealth 3
Saturday afternoon's trip to Anacortes paid off in only a non-league loss for Chief Sealth.
Eastside Catholic 49, Ballard 0
Eastside Catholic blanked the Beavers in Friday's action.
