#2022-029254/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 02-04-2022 at 1am, officers responded to a call of a male in the road with red marks on his back in the 3000 block of SW Avalon Way, but no one was found during that call. At 1:28am, the victim contacted AMR via telephone directly to report being stabbed at the earlier reported location.
Officers located this male victim at a nearby 7/11. The victim shared no specific details that could assist in the investigation, location of scene or suspect description.
The male had several small puncture wounds on his back. Seattle Fire responded and evaluated the victim.
The injuries were not deemed life-threatening. Out of an abundance of caution, the male was transported to Harborview Medical Center for additional evaluation. Officers later discovered that the victim had provided false identification.
Homicide and Watch Commander were notified.
#2022-029397/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 02-04-2022 at 7:37am, an incident occurred at the 4000 BLK of W Marginal WY SW.
The driver of a truck was pulling out of the business, and a disturbance occurred between the driver and the picketers. During the incident, there was property damage and a possible assault.
Both sides gave different accounts of the incident, and there weren’t any independent witnesses. Officers de-escalated the incident and documented the incident, but did not make any arrests.
