On Sunday 03-06-2022 at 1:35am, officers responded to the 1300 block of Harbor Ave SW for a disturbance with possible shots fired.
Updates while en route indicated that multiple vehicles were involved and actively shooting as they fled the area southbound.
Officers arrived and located a sprawling scene that stretched from the 1300 to the 2300 block of Harbor Ave SW.
Witnesses had varying accounts of events and could only provide minimal information regarding involved persons. 3 vehicles were likely involved, but no specifics were provided.
No victims were located, and no property damage was discovered during this search. Evidence of a shooting was located along this stretch of road.
While investigating this incident an unknown person admitted themselves with a gunshot wound to Swedish First Hill 22-56241.
This unidentified person fled the hospital prior to SPD response, and it is unknown if the injury was related to the shooting incident on Harbor Ave SW.
All evidence was photographed and collected to be submitted. Gun Violence Reduction Unit was contacted and screened the incident.
