West Seattle based Heidi Fish Swimwear is featured yet again in the world famous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition for 2022.

Her designs have been featured at least twelve times before notably in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2016, 

Two of her designs are included in the current issue the first is black, sleek and worn by WNBA star Didi Richards, on a beach in St Thomas, Virgin Islands. She was photographed by Laretta Houston. She plays for the New York Liberty. 

The second is worn by YouTube fitness model Katrina Scott. She was pregnant for the shoot and was photographed by Derek Kettela in St. Croix.

Heidi said, "I've been blessed being able to say my line has been in an issue or online once they have chosen a piece from designers."

She described how it happened, "First you receive a story line or theme to design around. Then you keep your fingers crossed and submit. Ironically Larretta Huston liked a few of my suits on Instagram, we became on line friends. We had a conversation about this story line. I replied lucky you girlfriend you will be at the shoot I'm just submitting

Sent her my sketch and replied hoping it gets noticed. Seems like a few months later no swimwear was sent back so I reached out. Evidently Didi Richards loved that suit so much she took it home with her. It was at that time I found out that my suits were shot and in the line up for publication and being on line. 

They receive around 500 sq ft of swimsuits from companies and designers so trust me it's not easy getting noticed," Heidi said.

Richards was photographed with fellow WNBA stars  Breanna Stewart, Sue Bird, Nneka Ogwumike and Te’a Cooper.
