West Seattle took care of business at the District 7 Minor Little League all-star baseball tournament.
The Westsiders swept to four straight victories without a loss in the age 8-10 action at the PacWest complex in SeaTac, ending with a narrow 8-7 championship win Thursday over South Highline National.
No if necessary game was necessary since West Seattle was the undefeated team.
The Westsiders opened the tournament with an 18-5 win over Seattle Central before downing South Highline National, 12-7, and taking Tuesday's winner's bracket final, 15-1, over Rainier District.
National battled back to earn Thursday's rematch with West Seattle, only to be edged by the 8-7 score.
West Seattle travels to Fort Vancouver for 5:30 p.m. state opening action Saturday, July 23.
The Westsiders are managed by Nick Datz, who is assisted by JP Patino and Stuart Widham.
Players are Ben Datz, Cal Reed, Cameron Widman, Duncan McKinney, Everett Harkins, George Faull, Henry Corr, Julian Patino, Keanu Ignacio, Lex Townsend, Nathan Shafi, Patrick Bowen and Ryker Wade.
