Information from West Seattle Chamber of Commerce

On August 27th, The Admiral Business District with support from the West Seattle Chamber will be producing a public activation event in the Admiral neighborhood called the Admiral Junction Funktion!

When: Event hours are from Noon to 9:00PM on August 27th, 2022.   

Where: Admiral District on California Ave SW from SW Walker St to SW Admiral Way.

Who: West Seattle Chamber of Commerce, Admiral Business District, City of Seattle Office of Economic Development Neighborhood Economic Recovery Fund*, and PCC Community Market - West Seattle.

What: Shopping, drinking and jiving out to live music! The event will be free and family friendly.   

Why: The Admiral Neighborhood has been chosen as the location for this event to give back to the community and help the local businesses to increase visibility as the vibrant core of the North of West Seattle.

There's a LOT more in store for this event.

Photo Challenge/Scavenger Hunt (Thursday to Sunday)

For businesses not on the block we wanted to promote them so that's the photo challenge.  

Thursday to Sunday next week visit any of those businesses who are part of the block party to win a local prize pack worth $1000 (gift cards) Pre-Funk Bar Crawl (Friday)

Admiral Junction Funktion Photo Scavenger Hunt

A highly valuable prize package (worth nearly $1000) will be awarded to someone who makes it inside of as many of the participating merchants as possible and then shares the photos on social media with the hashtag #AdmiralFunktion .

• Admiral Pub has the 70's funk/disco party with Drag Queen Andrew Scott.  (During the block party Queen Andrew will be doing a preview on the main stage) 
• Mission Cantina will feature live music
• Benbow has 2 DJ's Back to Back going on all night
• Yen Wor will offer a Karaoke show.
• Otter on the Rocks, The Nook, Arthurs will be open serving cocktails.
