Suspects with matching descriptions were apparently engaged in a mini crime spree on Saturday according to both Seattle Police and the King County Sheriff's office.
#2022-336957/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 4:26pm, two juveniles reported they were robbed at California Av SW and Fauntleroy WY SW. They reported two males approached them and told them to empty their pockets. They said a gun was implied but did not actually see one. The suspects left the area in a black Hyundai Sante Fe. Suspects were not located. Robbery notified.
#2022-337156/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2300 hours, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Shell Station at Fauntleroy Way SW and SW Alaska St. Caller reported two possibly male juveniles wearing masks requested vape pens from the clerk. When identification was requested one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the clerk. After grabbing 6 vape pens from the counter, the suspects fled on foot northbound. K9 was unavailable. The suspect description matched another armed robbery that had occurred earlier in the day nearby under #22-336957 in which the suspects fled in a black Hyundai Sante Fe. SPD Robbery was notified. 10 minutes later KCSO had an armed robbery at 28 Ave SW and SW Roxbury St with suspects matching the same descriptors from previous robberies. KCSO deployed with their K9 but did not locate suspects.
