Highline waits until 4:45 p.m. Thursday to enter postseason play, taking on Evergreen or Lindbergh at Renton High School.
The winner takes fourth place in the Kingco League 2A tournament and the loser is out.
Mount Rainier opens the District 3/4 4A tournament with a 6 p.m. Saturday loser-out game at home against Emerald Ridge of Puyallup.
Girls basketball
Mount Rainier battles Bethel in a 7 p.m. Friday home game to begin District 3/4 girls action.
The winner advances in the tournament and the loser is out.
Gymnastics
West Seattle High School hosts the Metro League meet starting at 4 p.m. Friday.
Boys swimming
The Metro League swimming and diving competitions are being held Friday and Saturday at the Snohomish Aquatic Center.
Diving preliminaries start at 10:45 a.m. Friday and swimming preliminaries begin at 4 p.m.
Finals for swimming and diving will take place in the same meet starting at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Seattle visits New Jersey for 4 p.m. Thursday action before going over to New York to battle the Rangers at 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Kraken travels to Philadelphia for a 10 a.m. Sunday game before stopping by Winnipeg to play at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
