Boys basketball
West Seattle takes on Liberty in a 6:30 p.m. Friday game at Bellevue College.
The winner clinches a state regionals berth and the loser is out.
Seattle Christian plays for the second and final berth out of the 1A West Central District tournament at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Mount Tahoma.
Girls basketball
West Seattle faces a must win game at 8 p.m. Friday when it battles Holy Names at Bellevue College with a state regionals berth on the line.
Foster plays a loser out game at 6 p.m. Thursday at North Kitsap.
Wrestling
The Tacoma Dome hosts state boys and girls tournament action this weekend.
Matches run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday ahead of a 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday session.
Finals begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Boys swimming
State meet competition for swimming and diving takes place at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Class 4A diving begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday followed by 1A/2A at 1 p.m. and 3A at 5:30 p.m.
Swim prelims are Friday with the 4A at 8:45 a.m., 1A/2A at 1:30 p.m. and 3A at 6:15 p.m.
The 4A finals are at 8:30 a.m. Saturday with 1A/2A at 1:15 p.m. and 3A at 6 p.m.

Philadelphia visits Seattle at 7 p.m. Thursday and Detroit flies in for 7:30 p.m. Saturday action.
The Kraken go to San Jose to play at 1 p.m. Monday.

Seattle opens XFL play with a 5 p.m. Sunday visit to D.C. on ESPN.

Seattle visits the Tri-City Americans at 7:05 p.m. Saturday before coming home to the Showare Center in Kent to face Victoria at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.
