A fire in a home near Evergreen High School in North Highline started around  4:45 am on Thursday morning. The fire in the home the 12100 block of 7th Place SW Thursday was fully involved when fire crews arrived

Those who had been in the home were outside and were not injured according to officials.

The fire  was under control” around 30 minutes later, thougth crews experienced problems getting inside the building.

The Red Cross is came to the aid of eight people who were displaced by the fire.
