Boys soccer
Highline visits Fife for a 6 p.m. Thursday playoff match and Foster travels all the way to Enumclaw for 7 p.m. action.
Winners go on to play noon Saturday matches at the home of the highest seed.
Ballard meets Chief Sealth at 5 p.m. Friday at Interbay Stadium with the Metro League's fourth and final seed to district on the line.
Baseball
West Seattle plays Lincoln of Seattle for the Metro League championship at 7 p.m. Saturday at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center.
Highline, meanwhile, plays Sammamish for a state berth at 1 p.m. Saturday at Foss High School in Tacoma.
Kennedy Catholic also has its eyes on a state berth, playing a 1 p.m. Saturday game with one on the line at Heritage Field next to Rogers of Puyallup. A loss would leave the Lancers with a second chance at 4 p.m.
Fastpitch softball
Kennedy Catholic hosts Todd Beamer for a 3:15 p.m. Thursday game to wrap up the North Puget Sound League regular season.
Highline plays Sammamish in a 4 p.m. Thursday road game with the Kingco tournament championship on the line.
Seattle Christian takes a ferry to Vashon Island for a 4 p.m. Friday doubleheader before hosting Klahowya at 4 p.m. Monday.
Kennedy Catholic goes to Cedar Park Christian of Bothell for a 4 p.m. Monday non-league contest.
West Seattle plays Lincoln in a 1:30 p.m. Friday game at the Southwest Athletic Complex and Ballard meets Roosevelt there at 3:30 p.m.
Ensuing games are at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Ballard and West Seattle are both going on to districts next week.
Track and field
Kennedy Catholic and Mount Rainier athletes are participating in the North Puget Sound League finals starting at 2 p.m. Friday at French Field in Kent.
The Metro League finals begin at 2:45 p.m. Friday at the Southwest Athletic Complex and Renton is hosting the Kingco 2A finals.
Pros
Mariners
Seattle plays a 3:40 p.m. Friday game at Detroit ahead of 10:10 a.m. Saturday and 10:40 a.m. Sunday action.
The Mariners go on to Boston to play the Red Sox at 4:10 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
ROOT Sports Northwest will televise the games live.
Kraken
Seattle is in Dallas for game five of its best of seven series against the Stars at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Game six will be back in Seattle on Saturday with any game seven in Dallas on Monday.
Thursday's action can be seen on TNT with Saturday's on ESPN.
Sounders
Seattle goes to Houston for a 5:30 p.m. Saturday match before coming home to Lumen Field for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday action against Austin.

The women's soccer team visits North Carolina for a noon Saturday match on Fox 13+.
Seawolves
Seattle visits Houston for 5 p.m. Saturday rugby action on ROOT.
Thunderbirds
Seattle continues its quest for the Western Hockey League title this weekend, visiting Winnipeg at 5 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday.
Rainiers
Tacoma is at home at Cheney Stadium playing the Reno Aces at 7:05 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 6:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:35 p.m. Sunday.
Emerald Downs
The Auburn horse racing oval opens for action at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
