Update

A man was shot near Whale Tail Park close to Alki Beach arouind 6:30pm. According to the Seattle Police Department a parking enforcement officer witnessed the shooting.The victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center but was pronounced dead.

The victim was shot in the torso and instead of a 911 call, he saw police and got their attention near 56th Avenue SW and Alki Avenue SW. Officers and firefighters from Engine 32 attempted to help the victim, performing CPR but their efforts were not successful.

The police have no suspect, and no description.

A shooting at 57th and Alki Ave SW shortly after 6:35 pm Saturday injured one. Engine 32 responded among others and CPR was performed on the victim. 

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center. No word on their condition.
