Two area teams entered the Junior Softball Division 2023 Washington State Tournament.
One is done after two straight losses, but the other one stands tall in the winner's bracket final after a pair of wins.
Ballard-Magnolia is one of only two undefeated teams remaining in the All-Star tournament for 13 year old girls, while PacWest of Burien and SeaTac came up short in two games.
Ballard-Magnolia opened the action at the Columbia Little League complex in Vancouver with a 19-1 demolition of Salmon Creek on Saturday before beating Mill Creek on Sunday, 12-1.
Ballard-Magnolia now faces also undefeated Federal Way National at 8 p.m. Wednesday with a berth into Friday's 6 p.m. championship on the line.
National was the first team to face PacWest and only won by a 7-6 score Saturday.
Mill Creek ended PacWest's season Monday, 15-1.
