Whitney Moore, Executive Director of the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce (a role she is leaving at the end of July) was the Grand Marshall of the West Seattle Grand Parade for 2023.

The 89th West Seattle Grand Parade led by Grand Marshall Whitney Moore was long on community and spirit and notably missing drill teams both on foot and motorcycles though a new one, Epitome Family Entertainment did take part. But the 76 entrants more than made for it with miles of smiles and lots of enthusiasm. Erik Bell, whose organization A Cleaner Alki, was honored with the Orville Rummel Community Service Award.
