Football set to open next Friday

Fall football season is scheduled to kick off for area high schools Friday, Sept. 1 with the first actual games.
Chief Stealth will be at Foster for a 7 p.m. game as Highline hosts Rainier Beach.
West Seattle entertains Columbia River at 6 p.m. with Evergreen going to Sultan and Mount Rainier to Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m.
Kennedy Catholic waits until Saturday to play, visiting Regis Jesuit of Colorado at 7 p.m.
West Seattle hosts Franklin for a 4:30 p.m. game Friday, Sept. 8 and Chief Sealth is at Lakeside at 5 p.m.
Scheduled for 7 p.m. that day are Kentlake at Mount Rainier, Evergreen at LaConner, Foster at Redmond and Ballard at Eastside Catholic.
Highline visits Kennedy Catholic at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Chief Sealth is set to visit Franklin at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15
Foster hosts Franklin Pierce at 7 p.m. as Evergreen travels to Sammamish, Mount Rainier hosts Tahoma and Highline goes to Interlake.
West Seattle entertains Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. and Ballard visits Lincoln at 7:45 p.m.
Mount Rainier is at Auburn for 6 p.m. action Thursday, Sept. 21 with Ballard hosting Rainier Beach at 5 p.m. the next day.
West Seattle is at Chief Sealth at 7 p.m. that day as Highline visits Evergreen and Foster hosts Renton.
Kennedy Catholic hosts Decatur at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23.
West Seattle goes to Roosevelt at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 and Chief Sealth hosts Ingraham at 4:30 p.m. the next day.
Scheduled for 7 p.m. are Mount Rainier at Kentwood, Evergreen at Lindbergh, Sammamish at Highline and Foster at Interlake.
Ballard hosts Garfield at 7:45 p.m.
Kennedy Catholic hosts Federal Way at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.
Evergreen is at home facing Foster at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 and West Seattle travels to Lakeside at 4:30 p.m. the next day.
Scheduled for 7 p.m. are Decatur at Mount Rainier and Kennedy Catholic at Kentridge.
Chief Sealth entertains Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. with Ballard hosting Seattle Prep at 7:45 p.m.
Thomas Jefferson is at Highline for a noon Saturday contest.
Mount Rainier is scheduled to visit Federal Way at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 as Federal Way Memorial Field reopens.
Ballard hosts O'Dea for a 5 p.m. game that Friday as West Seattle travels to Ingraham.
Àt 7 p.m. it will be Sammamish at Foster, Renton at Evergreen and Highline at Lindbergh.
Kennedy Catholic hosts Auburn-Riverside at 1 p.m. that Saturday.
Mount Rainier travels to Kentridge for 6 p.m. action Thursday, October 19.
Scheduled for 7 p.m. the next day are Foster at Highline, Nathan Hale at West Seattle and Evergreen at Interlake.

Highline is at home playing Renton at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26.
Mount Rainier host Kennedy Catholic at 7 p.m. the next day as Foster hosts Lindbergh and Evergreen travels to Stadium.
Metro League playoffs and crossovers take place that week as well.
West Seattle is scheduled to visit Foster at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 if neither team is in a playoff.
