Shortly after 4pm on Thursday two shootings took place, within a few minutes of each other resulting in one death and three others injured.

According to the Seattle Police Department the incidents are connected.

The first happened near Golden Gardens Park taking the life of a male in his 40's. A second male in his 20s was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he was reprorted to be in stable condition said Seattle Fire.

The second shooting took place at  26th Avenue Northwest and Northwest Market Street involving a  50-year-old female and 38-year-old male who were both shot.. They were transported to Harborview in stable condition, according to Seattle Fire.
