Rob Saka has maintained his commanding lead over Maren Costa in the District 1 race for Seattle City Council as the latest results came in from King County Elections.

Saka is at 58.53% of the vote with 10,393 and Coata has 40.93% with 7,265 votes.

The King County- Seattle affordable housing levy is winning by a large margin 66% to 34%

In the race for King County Council seat 8 Teresa Mosqueda has pulled ahead of current Burien Mayor Sofia Aragon. 

Teresa Mosqueda now has 50.68 % with 17,244 votes vs Sofia Aragon with 48.88% and 16.612 votes.

In the race for Burien City Council position No. 2 Linda Akey is winning handily with 60.94% of the vote, and 3423 votes over competitor Cydney Moore with 38.47% and 2,161 votes.

Council Position No. 6 had Krystal Marx facing off against Alex Andrade. Marx is trailing with 41.98% of the vote with 2380 votes. Andrade's lead is substantial with 57.58% and 3264 votes.

Position No. 4 in Burien was contested by Kevin J. Schilling and Patricia Hudson. Schilling is out in front with 3,471 and 61% of the vote. Hudson now has 2,196 vote, or 38.59% of the vote.

In the City of SeaTac Council Position No. 1 race Senayet Negusse holds a slim lead over Amy Rotter. Neguesse has 1.323 votes or 51% over Rotter's 1,252 or 48.34%.

Council Position No. 3 is clearer with Peter Kwon winning easily with 1,779 votes or 67.46% vs Elizabeth Greninger who got 848 votes or 32.16%.

Position No. 5 however is nearly a dead heat between James Lovell  and Brian Millican. Only five votes separate the two candidates. Lovell currently has 1,281 votes or 49.57%. Millican  has 1286 or 49.77%.

Position No. 7 is clear with Joe Vinson leading. He has 1,530 votes or 59.44%. Damiana Merryweather has 1,030 votes and 40.02%.
