The West Seattle Junction Hometown Holidays event and GLOWS was only held back a little by persistent rain and temperatures in the 30's.
It didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the Endolyne Children's Choir or of the West Seattle School of Rock who both performed early in the evening.

Arts West offered a brief performance on stage followed by the Light Costume Contest for the few that came in costume.
The Jay Cates West Seattle All-Star Jazz Ensemble (Lead by Jay Cates and Featuring an All-West Seattle Musical Ensemble) came to the stage and performed followed by Jack Menashe of Menashe Jewelers who addressed the crowd and did the countdown to the tree lighting.
Finally the West Seattle Glows Art Projection Spectacular involving the projection of art submitted to the junction was shown on the wall of the Alaska House.
The event also featured a night market with local merchants.
