A drive by shooting between two vehicles in White Center on Monday morning resulted in damage to two businesses and a near miss of a woman.
According to Patrick Choy, owner of Patrick's Deli whose security cameras recorded the traffic going by outside, one red pickup truck, they presumed was involved, ran through the 4 way stop at 100th and 15th SW and someone fired at another vehicle. The bullets penetrated the wall at Patrick's and went through a window across the street at Multiservicios Delia, a Mexican goods store.
But a woman outside at Patrick's had a bullet strike her shoe. She was shaken up and suffered minor injuries.
Patrick said, "This is the first time anything like this has happened here. We asked the lady in and fed her to help her out. She talked to the police and was shaken up."
King County Sheriff's Deputy Eric White shared their report:
"A shooting call was received from the location of SW 100th Street and 15th Ave SW. KCSO Deputies were dispatched to the scene. It was initially reported that involved vehicles fled the scene. At this time, it is reported only property damage and minor injuries to a female victim. The bullet struck her shoe. The suspects are unknown at this time."
