Sandra Fauvet co-owner with husband Edgar is holding a grande celebration of Dia De Los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead honoring all those who have passed away. The fun begins Oct. 25 but Nov. 1-3 will feature much more.

La Chingona Tacqueria is asking the public to join them invite for a Día de los Muertos Celebration.
La Chingona is located at 2940 Avalon Way SW.
The restaurant has added an all new awning, lighting and signage in preparation.
A special Brunch will be served on October 25 - 27 & November 1 - 3 from 8am-2pm featuring FREE Pan Dulce and Cafecita
The Grande event starts Saturday, November 02, from 2pm-6pm:
-Azteca Dancers 2:00-2:30
-Live Mariachi : 4:00-6:00pm
-Candle lit procession 5:30-6:00pm
-Beautiful Catrina’s and Catrines
-Ceremony 6:00pm
-DJ from 8pm-2am
Please bring photos to add to our community oftenda.
Come dressed in your best Catrina/or makeup with prizes for the Best Catrina.
Something unique in West Seattle is their community altar or "Ofrenda", which welcomes the spirits of deceased loved ones back to the living in the true spirit of the Day of the Dead, honoring loved ones who have passed away. You are invited to bring photos of your loved ones to add to the Ofrenda.
