With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Thomas (Tom) Richey of Seattle, Washington who passed away on February 15, 2025.  Tom was born in Seattle on September 27, 1952 to Harold and Mildred Richey, the third of six children.  He attended Arbor Heights Elementary, Denny Middle School, and Chief Sealth High School. He followed in the family business of jewelry and was a jeweler for 40 years until his retirement. 

Tom loved life.  Some of the many things that brought him joy were his family, his beloved wife Laurie, camping, his travels to Hawaii and Mexico, good food and drink, and cheering on his Seahawks, Huskies, and Sonics.  He will be remembered by his sense of humor and his gentle soul.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Richey, his mother, Mildred Richey, his brother, William Richey, and his beloved wife, Laurel Richey.  He is survived by son Ryan Rodal, daughter Sarah Gagliardi (Greg), daughter Dawn Holbrook (Jess), brother Dennis Richey (Dee), sister Linda Richey, sister Karen Ziebarth (Scott), brother Kenneth Richey (Annie), eight nieces and nephews, and his three beloved grandchildren Amelia, Hazel, and Enzo.
