Foster High School's stay was a short one in the Class 2A state final 12 boys basketball tournament in Yakima.

The Bulldogs absorbed an 88-66 loss to nearby Prosser in Wednesday morning action at the Yakima Valley Sun Dome.

Foster entered state as the Kingco League and District 2 Class 2A champions but got knocked into Wednesday's loser-out affair with a 63-44 regional loss to R.A. Long last Saturday.

That game was played at Mark Morris High School in Longview.
