Seattle's Alki Beach is set to welcome a new dining experience this summer as Do Si Korean BBQ, currently operating a location in Kent, has purchased the former Duke's Seafood restaurant at 2516 Alki Ave. SW. The announcement comes shortly after Duke's Seafood confirmed the closure of its Alki location.
Brian Hoang, managing partner of Do Si Korean BBQ, confirmed the purchase on Monday as reported in the Puget Sound Business journal, stating that the goal is to open the second Do Si location on Alki by July. Do Si Korean BBQ offers a variety of Korean barbecue dishes, along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
In a statement posted on social media, Do Si KBBQ expressed their excitement about the expansion, saying, “Do Si KBBQ is headed to Alki Beach this summer! What started in Kent as a bold idea to bring a fun, delicious & unique KBBQ experience to the community has grown into something bigger - all thanks to you. Our new home is right on the Seattle waterfront - a space full of history, and now, a new chapter. We're excited to bring good food, good vibes, and new memories to Alki. Our team is working hard to bring the Do Si experience you know and love to this new home. We can't wait to welcome you into this new space. Thank you for your continued support.
