Centerstage kicks off its 2005-2006 Season in sparkling fashion with the perennially popular musical comedy, NUNSENSE.
Winner of the Critics' Circle Ward for Best Musical when first produced in New York, Nunsense is a fundraiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook. One of the most-beloved shows of all time, the New York Times wrote: "Wacky and outrageous with an anything-goes sense of fun."
The Centerstage production features Phyllis Wilson as Reverend Mother, Jennifer Chadwick as Sister Leo, Michaela Koerner as Sister Amnesia, Natalie Moe as Sister Hubert and Taralynn Thompson as Sister Robert Anne.
Nunsense is directed and choreographed by Kerry Christianson, with Musical Direction by Karen Knoller.
Nunsense opens on Friday September 30th and runs through Sunday October 16th at the Knutzen Family Theatre, 3200 SW Dash Point Road, Federal Way. Tickets may be obtained at (253) 661-1444.
