A woman living at 912 SW 318th Place contacted Federal Way PD to report mail theft from her address. She did not realize the mail was missing until a neighbor returned the open pieces she found near her home by Lakota Middle School. The neighbor recognized the address as being right next door. She returned an opened Crescent Jewelers bill.
A man at 1921 SW 322nd Place, #287 called 911 to report a Sony Playstation 2 and five games stolen from his residence. The man told officers he believed the items were stolen sometime between 8/15 and 8/31. When asked about the delay in reporting the items stolen, the man said that he was hoping his property might be returned. The man had an idea who might have stolen the Playstation and games, but he has no proof.
A juvenile runaway was reported at an unnamed Federal Way address. A woman came into the police station and notified officers that her son was last seen at his grandfather's house in Federal Way. She left him there to cool off after an argument about school clothes. The next day, the boy's grandfather called to say he was gone.
Lakota Middle School contacted Federal Way PD to report that a student was allegedly hit in the face by his mother. Officers could not get a hold of the family and they would not return phone calls. The police closed the case.
A man at 1405 SW 356th Street reported mail theft and the fraudulent use of his credit card. The man ordered a new ATM card and never received the card nor the PIN in the mail. He reported that someone has made approximately 10 transactions totaling $650 using his new ATM card.
Federal Way High School contacted police to report a 14-year-old is seven months pregnant. Officers contacted the girl, who told police that the father is 15 years old and just 16 months older than her. Case closed, no crime.
A man called police to report a break-in to his vehicle while parked at Steel Lake Park at 2410 South 312th Street. The man was attending his son's soccer game when someone broke in through a damaged door lock that was destroyed from a previous break-in. He said his son's wallet and cell phone were stolen from the vehicle, as well as his workout bag, garage door opener and 12 CDs.
Officers recovered a stolen 1995 Honda at 2953 SW 310th Place that was parked in the driveway of a construction site. The car was confirmed stolen from Des Moines and returned to the registered owner.
The resident of 30702 28th Avenue SW reported a break-in to his vehicle while parked overnight in his driveway. The man reported that his vehicle was left unlocked, and all that was taken was $20 in cash and 50 CDs.
A woman at 2647 SW 349th Place called police to report that her son was intoxicated and wanted to drive their vehicle. He became upset when she told him no. She said no physical assault occurred and her son was gone when officers arrived.
A man contacted police to report fraud from CSC, Inc, a storefront business at 33427 Pacific Highway South, #C1. The man arrived at the store to obtain financial information and credit repair assistance. He paid for credit repair in March 2005, and returned monthly until August 31, at which time he found the doors locked. On 9/6, the store was vacant. The victim paid out $2,400 to the company.

A man at 2100 SW 334th Place reported that someone stole his credit card from his backpack while he was sleeping. Unknown subjects have been using his card at various locations in Federal Way.
A man reported that he was robbed a gunpoint at the Commons at 1928 South Commons. The suspects, two white males in business suits, reportedly held him for over an hour before leaving with his wedding ring and debit card. When questioned about inconsistencies in his story, the man indicated that he no longer wanted to make a report and abruptly left.
A woman was arrested for shoplifting at the Commons. As she and her father were walking to the car, the father jerked her walkman off of her head as she tried to pull away.

A woman at 804 S. Marine Hills Way contacted police to report that her ex-husband has been calling and harassing her. The incident was documented and the woman is now seeking a no contact order against him.
Officers arrived at 28806 Pacific Highway South, where a family called 911 to report their son was trying to kill himself. The son took several doses of insulin and 25 Cyclobenzaprino pills.
