To the editor:
I just wanted to give some feedback on "The Federal Way News." Some while ago, someone started throwing your paper in my driveway. I always grumbled as I picked it up and threw it away, thinking it some sort of junk mail. But one day, I quickly glanced at it. I saw it had a crossword puzzle, which I like, so I did the puzzle. After a time, I looked forward to getting the paper so that I could do the puzzle. It wasn't long until, I started looking at the rest of the paper. Now, it has grown on me. I read the whole thing cover to cover.
Your lead story is usually good. I like the easy to read Police Beat, with the helpful map. Occasionally I look at the sports to see our local kids are doing, and once in a while I'll even look at the want ads. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I really enjoy Scott Anthony's weekly "On the Edge" article. Lastly, and probably most importantly to you, I even read the advertising, and try to patronize your advertisers.
In short, I have come to like the FWN very much, and I now look forward to receiving it each week. It is a very good community newspaper. Thank you.
