1. The resident of a home of the 33500 block of 36th Avenue Southwest contacted Federal Way police to report an attempted break-in to his place. The man's report stated he was lying in bed around 1:15 a.m. when he heard a noise at his open window. He looked up and saw a hand pushing on the screen. No entry was made and the man saw nothing further. Federal Way officers established a perimeter around the residence was established and the K9 unit responded, but no trace of the suspect could be found.
Suspect attempts to enter woman's apartment
2. A Federal Way officer's report states that a suspect forced his way into an apartment at 2211 South Star Lake Road, where his ex-girlfriend was staying. The suspect did not share the residence with her. The tenant of the apartment is the victim's cousin, and the cousin did not give the suspect permission to enter her apartment without police presence. The suspect forced his way into the apartment, and the cousin witnessed the subsequent assault. The documentation states that the ex-boyfriend armed himself with a knife, but no mention of the outcome of the incident exists in the public report.
Victim receives threatening phone call
3. The resident of an apartment complex on 27916 Pacific Highway South called the Federal Way police to report that he received threatening and harassing phone calls from another person. There was no physical assault reported. The suspect caller said that he was going to "kick (the victim's) a** and slap his brother to draw him out of the house." The suspect also said that the victim had "signed his death certificate." The police report is vague, but suggests the incident may have occurred because of a conflict over a dating relationship.
Phantom object strikes passing vehicle
4. The driver of a 2005 Ford with Washington plates contacted the Federal Way police to report that his vehicle was struck by an unknown object while driving along the 3000 block of Southwest 320th Street near Decatur High School. The report states that the incident took place around 3:30 in the morning. The victim was not injured, but the flying object left a deep dent in the side of the vehicle.

5. A woman contacted Federal Way police to report a case of possible road rage that occurred at 28200 Pacific Highway South. The victim reported that the suspect cut her off while driving. The victim followed the suspect, and she heard something hit her car. When she looked up, she saw the suspect's hand hanging out the window. The victim later saw slight damage to her front bumper. The report states that the victim believes the passenger threw a bottle at her car. Officers determined that the case is closed due to lack of tangible evidence.
