Drug deal busted in FW

1. An unnamed witness phoned 911 to report a possible drug deal in progress near the 7-Eleven convenience store at 31000 18th Avenue South, shortly after 4:20 p.m. Officers made contact with the suspect, identified as Aundre D. Terry, and ran a background check on him. The police then determined that Terry had an outstanding warrant from the Pacific Police Department. Officers confirmed the warrant and arrested Terry, then transported the suspect to the Pacific PD for booking.
ATM card stolen after party
2. The resident of a home on the 1800 block of 286th Lane contacted Federal Way Police to report that his Debit/ATM card was possibly stolen from inside his home while his father had a party there in his absence. The unknown card thief then used the ATM card to make purchases at various local businesses. The total loss value came to more than $400. Officers have no evidence or suspects and are requesting to close the case pending new leads.
Driver arrested on drug/suspended license charges
3. Federal Way traffic officers pulled over a bronze-colored 2003 Chevrolet for a defective taillight and license plate lamp. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. near 34900 21st Avenue Southwest. Upon inspection of the vehicle and driver, officers determined that the suspect carried nearly 40 grams of marijuana and cocaine. The driver also operated the vehicle without a valid license.

4. Federal Way traffic officers followed up on a 911 call regarding a hit-and-run accident around 10:30 p.m. near 37300 Pacific Highway South. The report states that the vehicle, noted as a dark two-door, hit several light poles and left the area. Several minutes after the initial call, dispatch relayed that, in the area of 2020 Southwest 353rd Street, a two-door BMW was parked in front of the residence and was covered in grass and weeds and had severe damage to the front of the vehicle.
Campfire gets out of control
5. Federal Way officers and South King Fire and Rescue followed up on a possible fire call from 34400 18th Avenue Southwest. The fire appeared to be spread from a campfire set in the grass, possibly started from homeless individuals. Federal Way police also discovered a container of lighter fluid and matches in the area, and promptly disposed of them.
Police intercede during domestic dispute
6. Federal Way officers arrived at the scene of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex near 29401 Pacific Highway South. Upon investigation, the police determined that a daughter and her mother had engaged in a heated argument. The daughter stated that the mother is constantly yelling at her for no reason. The mother appeared very intoxicated. Both parties denied any physical contact and officers could determine no signs of domestic abuse.

7. Federal Way police followed up on a 911 from a witness regarding an unknown man carrying a black handgun. Upon arrival, officers contacted the witness--an off-duty Federal Way officer--who stated that the man was carrying a gun and pointing it towards the Gateway theater at 31920 Gateway Center Blvd. South. Officers detained the suspect near the theater and placed the suspect under arrest for unlawful display of weapons. The police later booked the suspect into the Fife Jail on the charge.
Woman has purse stolen while shopping at PetsMart
8. An unnamed woman contacted police to report that her purse was stolen within the PetsMart store at 31705 Pacific Highway South around noon. The report states that the woman set her purse on the shelf inside the store while she loaded several other items into her shopping cart. The total of the albums stolen came to $190. Officers have no evidence or witnesses and have closed the case pending new leads.
